Just like people, no dog breed is immune to all health problems. It is important that your dog get regular checkups from a veterinarian familiar with French Bulldogs.

Frenchies are not your average type of dog and have unique problems specific to the breed. For example, they can sometimes struggle with respiratory issues, which includes allergies and elongated soft palate; back, spine and disc issues; and so on. It is therefore important that you do your research prior to getting one of these special dogs. And even after purchasing a Frenchie, care should be given to ensure a happy long life.

I am located in the eastern Free State, Petrus Steyn; which is approximately 200km from Johannesburg. I am more than happy to assist with transport arrangements anywhere in South Africa, or beyond.

I do not really allow anyone to visit, in order to avoid infections. However, I do make exceptions, please let me know if this is a requirement for you. I can also show you your puppy on a video call if you would like.

The price depends on the colour, age, gender, markings and the discretion of the breeder. Girls cost more than boys. You can expect the price to be anywhere between R20000 and R50000.

You will come across cheaper options, and be tempted by these low prices, but please note that there are many scammers out there as well as unethical breeders who breed just to make a profit.

Frenchies are difficult to breed with, and require special methods and practices like artificial insemination, c-sections, and full-time care after being born. Once the puppies get bigger, they need to be checked by a vet regularly and they require vaccinations, dewormers, and other treatments. The puppies also require the best food, a safe place to play and sleep, and good quality toys.

My puppies are from good bloodlines, some of my adults are imported from other countries, and we are also registered with kennel clubs.

All my puppies go home with a generous puppy pack, the content of the pack varies from litter to litter.

As you can see there is a lot oftime, effort, care and money that goes into breeding with French Bulldogs to ensure you receive a healthy, happy, family member.

Please note that all my puppies are sold as pets only, and may not be bred with.

These loveable French weirdos have accumulated many nicknames over the years, bat pig being my favourite. But no, unfortunately no relation to Batman…

Frog dogs – this is due to how strangely they lay on their stomach and splay their legs behind them like a frog.

Bat pig – their ears are fixed on top of their head like a bat, and due to their short snouts, they may grunt or snore, sounding a lot like a little piggy.

Clown dog – they’re easy-going and have a fun-loving temperament, guaranteed to make you laugh.

You choose an available puppy. I also have a waiting list for those of you that have a very specific colour, structure or gender in mind.

I will send you a contract to read through and sign.

You will pay a non-refundable deposit to reserve your puppy.

You will be required to pay the balance on or before collection of the puppy by you or your agent.
